Some usefully hints follow:

1. Restart the backup schedule/dsmcad process,
   e.g. Unix:
   /usr/tsm/dsmsched.restart
   e.g. Windows:
please restart the "TSM Client Acceptor" service

2. Find more details in the TSM schedule log file,
   e.g. Unix:
   less /usr/tsm/dsmsched.log
   e.g. Windows:
   C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient\dsmsched.log

3. Check latest backup of all file-spaces on Unix platforms:
   dsmc q fi

Check latest backup of all file-spaces on Windows platform:
   start Backup-Archive Command Line program
   q fi

4. Perhaps start the incremental backup manually as root (e.g. weekly incremental):
   dsmc incr
For single file-space=domain start this command:
   dsmc incr >domain<

5. update filespace/domain in the Unix files: /usr/tsm/dsm.opt
   and execute ./dsmsched.restart
   or Windows: C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient\dsm.opt

6. Windows TSM installation code and dsm.opt config-file you will found in following repository:
   N:\win.desy.de\group\zit\4all\intern\TSM\tsm6\v6130.x32\6.1.3.0-TIV-TSMBAC-WinX32.exe

7.0 Unix TSM installation code and config-files you will found in the AFS repository,
    e.g. for Linux,Solaris,Solaris_x86:

   DESY TSM configuration files:
   /afs/desy.de/products/source/tsm6/linux/*
   /afs/desy.de/products/source/tsm6/solaris/*
   /afs/desy.de/products/source/tsm6/solaris_x86/*

   IBM TSM code:
   /products/source/tsm6/linux/pro/*
   /products/source/tsm6/solaris/pro/*
   /products/source/tsm6/solaris_x86/pro/*

Execute the simple install script under AFS, e.g.:
   arguments: >TSM-servername:tsl,s3u< >nodename< >option<
   /products/source/tsm6/linux/desy.dsminst-linux l xyz noint
   /products/source/tsm6/solaris/desy.dsminst-solaris i u xyz noint
   /products/source/tsm6/solaris_x86/desy.dsminst-solaris_x86 u xyz noint

   installing questions:
Please enter your user id xyz: simple press enter to continue
Please enter password for user id "xyz": initial or old TSM password

after initialization set your own password, please:

   dsmc set password
   ....

7.0.1 update Unix TSM code script you will found in the AFS repository:

   new IBM TSM code:
   /products/source/tsm6/linux/desy.dsm-linux-upd
   /products/source/tsm6/solaris/desy.dsm-sol-upd
   /products/source/tsm6/solaris_x86/desy.dsm-solx86-upd
