Account

Wir haben mit Ihrem temporären Passwort vom Anmeldeformular einen UNIX- und Windows-Account erzeugt. Dieses Passwort ist nur für 5 Tage gültig.
Bitte ändern Sie es rechtzeitig in ein reguläres Passwort, das dann 180 Tage gültig ist.

• Passwortänderung: Sie können Ihr Passwort über das Intranet-Web-Portal der Registry ändern (nur innerhalb des DESY-Netzwerkes möglich) oder
  wenn Sie außerhalb des DESY-Netzwerkes sind, mit dem Programm passwd auf dem Server bastion.desy.de, auf dem Sie sich via MindTerm (unsigned) oder via ssh einloggen können.
• Innerhalb des DESY-Netzwerkes sichtbar sind die Passwortregeln und Tipps für ein gutes Passwort.

Leitfaden für die DESY-IT-Umgebung

Alles Wissenswerte rund um IT@DESY ist in dem von IT herausgegebenen Faltblatt "Die ersten drei Tage am DESY Hamburg – Leitfaden für die DESY-IT-Umgebung“ dargestellt. (Wenn Sie das Faltblatt selber ausdrucken wollen, folgen Sie bitte der Druckanleitung.)
Das Faltblatt ist bei folgenden Ausgabestellen erhältlich:

• UCO (User Consulting Office): Gebäude 2b,Raum 131d (Rechenzentrum)
• Gruppensekretariate
• International Office (Gebäude 6, Raum 114)

Account

We have generated an UNIX and Windows account with your specified password on the registration form, which is a temporary one and only valid for 5 days.
Please change it in time in a regular one, which will be valid for 180 days.

• Changing the password: You can change your password using the intranet web portal of the Registry (only accessible within the DESY network) or
  if you are outside of the DESY network with the program passwd on the server bastion.desy.de, where you can logon either via MindTerm (unsigned) or via ssh.
